SANCTUARY DOGS

DEFINITION OF A RESCUE DOG : A rescue dog is a dog that has been placed in a new home after being abused, neglected,  abandoned by its previous owner or sometimes due to illness or death.

Many animal rescue organisations exist to rescue, protect, care and re-home dogs from unnecessary euthanasia.  So please remember this when you are looking for a rescue dog. They have, usually, already been let down by their original owner.

The following dogs remain in the care of Rottweiler Rescue Trust with Shelley and Pete. There are various reasons which are described in the photos below (click to expand), but essentially it is because nobody else wants them and/or is in a position to care for their needs.
